New Service Helps eGaming Operators
Collect Player Chargebacks

A Canadian Company has recently announced that it will be offering a specialized debt recovery and collections service for online gaming operators. DRP Services Inc., based in Vancouver, British Columbia, will act on behalf of the many online Casinos and Sportsbooks, to recover credit card charge backs and declined e-wallet payments from North American players. The company’s collections process complies with the Fair Debt Collection Practices (F.D.C.P.) Act in the United States and the provincially legislated Debt Collection (D.C.) Acts in Canada. The company’s fee structure is performance based, requiring operators to pay only on successful collections. DRP Services will be accepting debt going back 4 years. For further information, contact:

Marketing Tips
QVSS

Quality…Value…Service…Selection. How does your business rate in each of these categories when your customers evaluate your product or service? Most importantly, how well do you emphasize which of these are your core strengths or benefits when advertising and presenting your message to your market? If you consistently show how you excel in 3 or 4 of these categories compared to your competition, in each marketing message you produce…stand up and take a bow! If your advertising consistently shows your customers why you’re the best at providing 2 of these benefits, keep up the good work…it will pay off! If you’re strong in a single area, capitalize on it using direct comparison to your competition…and back it up with facts! If you’re not sure how to differentiate your business from the rest…or what the single, most important benefit your customers are looking for, really is…give us a call.

Feedback
Nearly 1 in 5 Commercial E-mails blocked

Commercial e-mailers continue to experience problems with filters at Internet service providers, a new study has found. E-mail deliverability firm Return Path reported that 18.7 percent of opt-in commercial e-mail sent to the top 18 ISPs was blocked in the second half of 2003, a 3.7 percentage-point increase from a year earlier and a 1.7 percentage-point rise over the monthly average of the six previous months. Of the biggest ISPs, Yahoo and AOL were the most stringent, both blocking more than 20 percent of commercial e-mail. Yahoo's broadband service with SBC was even more challenging, blocking more than 26 percent. MSN blocked less than 15 percent of commercial e-mail, and EarthLink blocked just over 5 percent.
